LoongBuy Shipping Costs: Weight, Volume and Delivery Options

Understand what affects your LoongBuy shipping costs, how actual and volumetric weight differ, and what to check before submitting a parcel.

Step 1

What makes up the total cost?

CostWhat it covers
Product costThe selected item and option shown on the product listing.
China domestic deliveryDelivery from the seller to the warehouse, where it applies.
International shippingTransport for the submitted parcel to its destination.
Other applicable costsAny charges shown during checkout or required by the destination.

A product’s reference price is not a parcel-shipping quote. The parcel details and destination are needed to compare international delivery costs.

Step 2

What affects international shipping costs?

Destination, actual parcel weight, package dimensions, the selected line and item restrictions can all affect the quote. A line may have weight limits or restrictions that change which options are available for a particular parcel. Do not treat one route’s price, delivery time or rule as applying to every destination.

Step 3

Actual weight vs volumetric weight

Actual weight is the parcel’s scale weight. Volumetric weight converts the parcel’s size into a weight figure when a parcel is large for its weight. Lines can use different rules, divisors, rounding methods and minimum chargeable weights, so check the rule for the line you are comparing.

Step 4

How to compare shipping options

  • Whether the line supports the destination and the goods in the parcel
  • Which charging method the line uses
  • The displayed price and what it says is included
  • Any estimated delivery-time information and its conditions
  • Tracking, compensation or insurance terms, where the line shows them

Compare options for the same parcel and destination. The lowest displayed quote is not automatically the best match for every shipment.

Step 5

Can packaging changes reduce the cost?

Removing unnecessary packaging may reduce parcel size or weight, but it can also reduce protection. Combining items can avoid repeated packaging, while also changing the chargeable weight, available lines and restrictions. LoongBuy’s published process refers to optional packing services in the parcel flow; review only the choices currently shown for your parcel rather than assuming a particular service is available or cheaper.

Step 6

Check your parcel before payment

  • Recipient information
  • Items included in the parcel
  • Actual weight and dimensions shown for the parcel
  • Line restrictions for the destination and goods
  • The displayed quote and any adjustment rules shown for the line

Review your QC photos before you submit a parcel, and use the ordering guide if you need the earlier warehouse steps.

Official freight estimate

LoongBuy provides a public freight estimate page. It asks for the delivery area, parcel weight in grams, warehouse, product mailing restrictions and length, width and height in centimetres. Use it for a route estimate, then check the current parcel quote in your account.
